The Hull Bar is a personal project, a favorite of friends and family as well as my own.
This piece was first intended for entertaining outdoors where it was positioned on a deck serving as the gathering and seating space for sunny weather BBQ's. Since then I have moved to a smaller home in the city where it has effectively become a kitchen counter used for just about anything from entertaining to paying bills.
DESIGN
Lightweight and Durable
Dimensions: 101" x 30" x 43.5"
Built for outdoor use as well as indoor, the bar is made from lightweight marine plywood and laminate. The each frame component is drilled, glued, doweled and screwed. The result, rigid construction with effortless and precise assembly.
Each Element Has Purpose
The footrail is integrated into the base of the bar also serves as a surface for recessed LED’s that run the front perimeter. The drop countertop on the right-hand side is designed as standing tabletop that encourages congregation on either side.
